Our purpose is to challenge historic imbalances of power and systems of oppression while working towards a deeply inclusive and collaborative ecosystem empowered to serve the common good.
What We Offer
Grant Funding
We facilitate and manage the distribution of seed funding to projects and community initiatives that build or steward the common good in Kingston.
Grants will range from $5,000 – $50,000.
TOTAL funding available in this pilot year: $150,000
SUPPORT + NETWORK
We organize a network of volunteers and mentors to provide an accessible and supportive process for funding applicants, that allows us to build stronger relationships, identify opportunities for collaboration, and model care.

How It Works
The funding process will use a highly transparent and supportive approach: facilitating engaged and democratic decision-making while nurturing a growing network of resources and relationships. The ambition is a community-led decision to fund a diverse group of projects serving community needs, stewarded through a process that inspires regenerative ways of building and managing shared resources.
